Importance of removing your makeup
It is that time of the year when there are a lot of festivities, so many weddings, end of year parties and sorts. I am sure you already have that makeup look on lockdown for every occasion and know what else happens you come back tired! No matter how tired you are I am begging you with a cherry on top do not go to bed with your makeup on. I guess this will be a good reason to have your night time routine. It will be nice to keep your skin healthy given the back to back festivities.
Leaving your makeup on overnight can potentially clog your pores and that can translate into breakouts and dull skin. The residue from the makeup gets settled in the pores adding to oil and other bacteria and before you know it you are breaking out. That also means dirty beddings by morning. So you’d agree with me that the little things count.
So when you properly take off the makeup you give your skin a clean canvas for other products to better penetrate the skin. So how then do you properly take off your beautiful makeup?
You can start off by using micellar water to reduce the makeup or use face wipes.
Next you want to use your cleanser to help clean the residual.
Follow up with exfoliating the skin remember to keep this 2-3 times a week.
Having a masque once a week will really help with giving you skin that bright and plump look
Next will be your treatments( any serums that you use)
Finally your moisturizer
I can feel how fresh and grateful your skin feels at this point! If anything make sure you use your cleanser and a moisturizer before you go to bed after a day with makeup on. I’ll like to hear in the comment section how you feel in the morning when you forget to take off your makeup or when you take it off.
